Custom manufactured Li-Ion battery packs, fabricated in a variety of shapes and sizes, are being introduced by Aved Electronics, Inc. of Lowell, Massachusetts. The company has been approved by LG Chem, a leading world-wide battery maker, for manufacturing lithium battery backs in-house.
Aved Custom Li-Ion Battery Packs for portable solutions can be made in cylindrical, prismatic, and coin cell configurations in various shapes to fit specific cavity design and power requirements. Featuring capacities from 500 mA to 20 Amps, these rechargeable Li-Ion battery packs provide up to five times the energy density of NiCad batteries for a comparable size.

Combining high power and high energy density into a lightweight package, Aved Custom Li-Ion Battery Packs operate from -20ºC to +70ºC and can include on-board circuitry to gauge charge, temperature, and remaining run time, where applicable. Connector types include flying leads, pressure contacts, and solder-, surface mount-, and quick-connect connectors.

Aved Custom Li-Ion Battery Packs are priced according to configuration and quantity; with 5,000 minimum units per year typical. Literature and price quotations are available upon request.
