Battery Assembler
POSITION SUMMARY
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform some or all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Technician is encouraged to provide input and feedback to engineer and/or cell lead to strive toward continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
- Keep work areas clean.
- Assembly of cables, battery packs, or electro-mechanical assembly.
- Adhere to and maintain workmanship standards set forth by Aved.
- Participate in continuous training, including but not limited to cross training to all three divisions.
- Use lead free solder on PC boards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are necessary.
Certification & Licenses: All assembly technicians must be trained in house to a curriculum based on IPC-620 standards, welding, general assembler knowledge, and basic Cirris testing Non-Conforming SOP 8.3.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Light assembly work in climate controlled environment.
